Best Valentine's Day Date Ideas

45 Entries

The best idea for that someone special on valentine's day is to take them out to a romantic spot outside like the beach or a pretty field of flowers somewhere they won't forget, at sunset cause that's the most romantic lighting and have a well cooked dinner of their favorite meal and desert. And have their favorite flowers and candles spread all over the place. And spell out "I Love You" in flowers on the ground with a little gift laying inside the heart. Have romantic music playing in the background. After eating the delicious dinner ask for a small dance. While dancing whisper reasons why you love the person your with. Then afterwards have a fire going and couple of blankets and tons of pillows on the ground along with choclate covered strawberries and whip cream and feed them to each other while ya'll are bundle up under the blankets gazing into each others eyes and laying underneath the shining stars. That is a great idea for valentine's date. Happy Valentines Everyone!!

I'm more of a private person so I'd love a homemade dinner for the both of us, an awesome dessert and then cuddled up watching a movie together just the two of us.

My husband once made me a romantic Valentine's Day dinner. Later we took a walk on the beach. He had carved a giant heart in the middle with "Troy + Lori" in the middle. It may sound corny, but girls love this kind of stuff. :)

Go to the beach and lay with her and look and the stars and then give her some flowers and chocolate and say you love her

Last year my sister and boyfriend Left her house at 12:00pm, blindfolded him and she drove to the place they had their first date. A park believe it or not beside the lake, she had a blanket and picnic laid out and they had lunch. Next they drove to the arcade and played games for ages, their both 27 and acted like complete kids. Next they went home got dressed up and went out, what he didn't know was she had a surprise for him, again she blindfolded him and brought him to a theater, they were ushered to a private room, it was a balcony seat, she'd gotton tickets to his favourite musical, he wasn't able to get tickets but she saved up and got them ahead of time. Afterwards they went a restaurant, got a private booth where a violin player serenaded her with her favorite songs. Her gift to him was A framed picture containing every movie ticket, note, letter and old reminder from their years together all placed as a collage. That night he took her outside and proposed. It was a yes. :)

Take her out to a scary movie so she's cuddly with you and wants to stay close to you then take her to her favorite restaurant and let her pick anything off the menu. When all said and done take her back to your place to wind down a little on the bed.(;

The best Valentine's date (like any other day), is not about one activity, one place, or the right gifts - it's taking the time to appreciate who you are with, and enjoy the ways you always like to spend time together. Real romance is looking out at the world together, sharing perspectives, and basking in each other's company. For me personally, my ideal day is pretty low key - maybe breakfast in bed as a way to say "I Love You", and an extra-special dinner (in or out) that helps you slow down, and remember to talk to each other the ways you did when you first met. Anything on top of that - movies, plays, walks on the beach - are lovely, but so much gravy.

Pick me up and take me out for a movie and a quiet dinner them go for a ride and talk and then go home and watch a nice movie of his choice witch would probably be Platoon his favorite and then spend the rest of the nite loving each other
By mimijanie   Over a year ago
Ok.first of all invite him over one nite your free from your friends and family.then go get a bunch of rental movies and then get some popcorn and maybe soft drinks but I prefer maybe a nice simple milkshake.but always have both by your side or on the table.then have a lot of pillows around the two of you.dim the living room lights and have many covers but not to much.and when he gets there don't laugh a lot be soft and gentle your laughing could freak him out a little.but talk to him a little bit I happen to know if you sit there talking to him all through the movie he will be wanting to go home afterwards.and when the movies are over walk him to the door and be soft and give him a gentle hug maybe a kiss if it comes down to it.

Get a basket and fill it with wine, cheese, strawberries, chocolate, etc. Drive, with your date,to a location where you can sit in a somewhat elevated area. You want it to be an area where you can get a clear view of the sky. You want to be able to see the stars or the city skyline. Go somewhere where you can be completely secluded. Lay everything out and allow your palate to enjoy the things you've prepared. Discuss your dreams, aspirations, and life, and allow everything to float beyond the stars or the skyline. Let all of your cares go and just enjoy the moment. From the beauty of the environment to the joy of being with the one you love, this can be a date you will never forget.

It would be great to share little parts of something about yourself to the other person. Also, give that significant other person special little things that you know about them. It isn't the size of the gift as much as the amount of love you put in.

All I want to do on Valentines day is spend it with the one I love, and I don't care about presents or really even going anywhere. Just being with my love is enough for me, and devoting the whole day to just the two of us, with our cells off, Computers off and no means of communication. It would just be me and him.

The best idea for valentines day

a gift to a girl: I say the ussual box of chocolates because you know she will like it but the best part would be a dozen flowers but only make 11 of them real and one fake and in the middle of the flowers put a note that says "i will love you until the last petal falls" just simple like that and follow it by a passionate kiss

My boyfriend always let's me pick what we do when we go out but for Valentine's Day I want to make th entire day about him. He's not a morning person but he loves breakfast so I'd tell him to sleep-in late and I'd surprise him with a huge spread out all his favorite breakfast foods: eggs, bacon, ham, omlettes, pancakes, fruit, etc. After he finishes breakfast I'd take him paintballing since it's one of his favorite pasttimes and one he doesn't get to do that often. My boyfriend is a huge hockey fan so after paintballing and after we clean up we'd go to a game. Because my guy is also a drummer in a band, I'd buy him and his band time at a recording studio so he can finally cut the demos he has been wanting to record for a while. We'd end the night by falling asleep together in front of my fireplace, curled up with our bodies entwined under the blanket.

We are going to make it special by remembering the very first time we got together to our recent date. We will build our own time machine. The time machine doesn’t have to be anything fancy. I will use the empty spaghetti sauce bin which I used to make dinner for us last week. We start by flooring it with small glows-in-the-dark stars. We first met on a starry night by chance. The stars are the reminder of that night. Then we will drop guitar picks. We are both musicians and love playing together. Then we will place the song he wrote for me, the reminder of how beautifully it was written. Next, we will take the pink rose petals. We’d never forget how good it smelled. Next, we will go back to the beach we went together and take a handful of the sand to place it in the bin. Then, we will put the movie ticket stabs. Every movie we’ve watched together is special. Last, we will top with some more glows-in-the-dark stars. These stars represent the possibilities of our lives.

Champagne hot air balloon trip

Hot air balloon trips are just another of those things that are instantly romantic, maybe it is the pageantry of them setting up this huge contraption just for you two, or the silent ascent into the heavens? and effortlessly gliding over the landscape below?

Well turn it into a sunset trip with champagne then you have a really memorable romantic experience! Until you have experienced your first balloon ride then you don't know what you are missing!

The best valentine's day date would be a candlelit dinner by the lake under the stars and a full moon. then after take a walk talking about each other. To end the night I think a nice candlelit dessert in a room alone. ended by a hot candlelit bath

I already have too much junk so my best Valentine's Day date idea is to stay home with my sweetie, and give to Haiti aid what could have been spent on going out to dinner.

We would be up in the mountains in a small warm cozy cabin. Laying on soft cushion blankets in front of a toasty warm fire. I would lay there naked letting my husband sketch my pose (because he loves that. When finished drawing, he would join me and we would sip wine while laying in each other's arms reminiscing about our first date and how we had secret crushes on each other in high school. Then I would look in his eyes and tell him how proud I am to be his wife and that he is my love, and my world. Then we would make sweet love to one another and fall asleep holding each other in our arms. That would be the best Valentine's date ever!!!

Well, this is how I imagine it... were in my room, candles are lit, there's a vase of roses on the nightstand and the room has a pleasant aroma of sweet linen ,its a perfectly clear night, not a cloud in the sky and the lights are dim,i can hear the drizzle of rain on my roof top,me and my girlfriend are cuddling on my bed and I lean in and kiss her neck and whisper in her ear I love her and she nips at my lip and I stare into her eyes and just completely lose myself and I run my fingers through her hair and I caress her body very gingerly and embrace her and I say to her, sometimes,i left my mind wander off and think about what our home is going to be like and will we have children? but actually, none of that matters,we could be freezing in a cardboard box for christs sake but that wouldn't matter,we can warm ourselves with out own body heat,so for now,i just want to hold you and take my time and love every second of being with you,i need you, happy valentines day love

On Valentine's last year my boyfriend came home from lockup.. long story, but he's all better now.. I set my room up perfectly- the lighting, the music, the timing, the lingerie.. everything went exactly how I planned in that aspect... but the best part of that night wasn't him telling me how romantic I was, but hearing him say I love you for the first time after 2 years of waiting... oh my god...

It should be a little snow on the ground, but not too much cold. It should all start by picking up a girl at her house with a coach with 4 white horses and a man would wait for her in a chariot with a box of chocolates and a bouquet of red roses. After the girl would get in chariot, they should go true a park on 1-2 hours drive. Then they should go at his apartment where should be petals of red and white blooms. They should have dinner and before the end a firework at a balcony would make a perfect night ending - with a kiss, off course :)

I don't care if we're on a cruise or stuck in traffic, at work or in jail...As long as I'm with him and he's telling me he loves me it would be the best day of my life.

My idea of the perfect Valentines Day Date is staying home in comfy clothes, sitting on the couch, snuggling under a blanket and watching a sweet romantic movie like "50 First Dates" and ordering Chinese takeout or something casual. Just being together is all I can ask for. :)

Since we totally love the same music I would love to go to a concert with him. I would buy the tickets and surprise him with them =). We could eat and watch our fave band and then maybe make-out a little at the end of the night. Plus whose parents would wanna supervise a date like that? LOL just kidding our parents don't supervise =)

V-day should include a romantic Horse-Chariot ride through Central Park(NYC). After that a romantic walk around nyc because nyc has great culture. For dinner, perhaps a very romantic dinner on a yacht on the Hudson River. The yacht is romantic because you can see the city lights like you have never seen them before. This is unique because it isn't every day your man or significant other takes you out on a luxurious ship.

My dream date would be for a man to take me to a shooting range. Not only would the man show me he's up for anything with me, but I can tell straight off the bat how he'll support and teach me along the way!

This year, it's my turn to come up with my boyfriend's and my date...I've decided to blindfold him, drive one way, then back the other way to confuse him, and then bring him to a local band's concert (it's rock) then I'm treating him to dinner where we first went out. :)

A Valentines Day date should definitely be a mix of romance and uniqueness(which brings out the personal stuff). In my opinion, the best idea is to make the other person a candlelit dinner. Going out costs money and time. Spend time with your loved one alone. Each person should use a talent or specialty they have to do something original. F.E: I sing very well, so I decided to write something short for my boyfriend and sing it for him. Obviously, being passionate and intimate with each other is a given, so girls, put on something he will like, guys, don't be too excited. This is the holiday of love. Cherish the moments you have intimately together. Buying gifts is not necessary. All you need is the desire to do something really special and make them feel special.

Me and my sweetie are going to the biggest mall around us(3 levels and huge) to walk around and but some things for each other. Then we are going to the movies and then dinner at my favorite place. Then after all that we are getting a hotel in that city with a hot tub and we are going to relax the night away in the hot tub. Well until it closes. Plus we have some non-alcoholic wine.

I would love to have a vegan lovefest. The day would begin with a leisurely breakfast and some morning nookie (not necessarily in that order), and then head down to the beach for surf and sun until about 2. Then Margaritas and Nachos(vegan of course) and some afternoon delight. Then a nap until 5 or so...Then dinner with friends, a game of charades, cocktails, and then hit the sack. Perhaps experiment with the vegan body paints...

1st of all I would get him something he has always wanted for example my boyfriend has always been into cars and games. I would get him a ps3 he's been talking about for ages. I would get some movies that we like to watch while cuddling as well as a his favorite german chocolate cake and some vanilla icecream and some whipped cream. I would get something sexy on to surprise him. I would put rose petals on the bed and light up candles that I set up leading to the bedroom. So when he walks in the door he knows to come straight into the bedroom where I am waiting for him with his present and me laying there all sexy.

First of all.I will greet her with a true heart,
Then I will give her a box in shape of heart which I have personally made for her year ago which contains 365 chits written by me every single day...showing my love towards her.
Then we'll go for a long drive..
followed by a candle dinner with violins in the background...
I will be prepared with good jokes,so that it could make her happy as much as I could..
I will tell her how much I love her, will try to develop some stupid fights...
compliment her on true grounds..
thats it!
In the end, I'll kiss her on her forehead!

I think staying in is more romantic than going out. Bubble bath, romantic dinner and a great movie. My favorite thing is to take a lot of pictures and frame them so you can always remember that day together.
