What does it mean when a guy tells you ALL his problems but he's got a girlfriend?

Am I overthinking this? 😞 argh this is so complicated. It just makes me wonder why he tells me and not his partner.

It means he is very comfortable with you as a friend and confidant, but likely has no romantic interest in you. Most people are more comfortable talking to their closest friends about some things than their partner (you can't complain about your gf to your gf, that's just a recipe for disaster). Guys don't tend to talk about personal things with their other guy friends the way girls do, so you're just the lucky girl that he considers his best female friend. Just for reference, if you were a guy, you would be totally friendzoned.

Usually girls do that, but sometimes guys do that too. It's a sign of being utterly in the friend-zone. If a guy or girl is even slightly romantically/sexually interested in you, he/she is very unlikely to reveal his/her major faults to you. He/She would want to seem attractive.

For me it meant friend zone. My crush talked about his problems with the 2 girlfriends he had during the time of me crushing. (Not 2 gf at the same time lol) and he kept asking me for advice instead of actually solving the issue with them haha

It's probably just like how you don't want to talk about every problem you have with your bf (whenever you have one). He needs someone to vent to. And just because he does this doesn't mean he likes you because he does have a girlfriend.
