Why is this German man ignoring me?

So I've been taking/Web caming with a guy for a year and he is from Germany n we made plans to meet up in the usa where I live. My friends suggested I see his passport n ID to make sure he's actually who he says he is. I asked for it thinking it was no big deal. He said to me that's a lot of private info and within an hour long to respond back to me, he told me that's not a good idea because he spoke to his friend whom studies laws. I was shocked. When I asked for the reason he didn't reply back. It's been 2 days since I heard from him and the plan meet up is in 4 days. I don't know what to do, I'm completely lost and puzzled. I know German men are shy, n this one can be super shy and sometimes one worded. Can anyone make sense of this?

P. S he already bought the ticket.

Last night I snap chatted him saying I am worried about him n I hope n pray he is ok. This morning I saw that he opened the message n even screen capped it!! Now I'm more confused than ever!!

Sounds like he is playing you. My advice to guys is that there are keepers and throwaways and one should decide before meeting or immediately upon meeting which she is. With a keeper, you can be open and honest. With a throwaway, you never tell her your real name or where you live in case she gets pregnant or she is psycho. You are a throwaway to this guy. He is probably married.

One girl I met online lived in a different state. She was very concerned about meeting some stranger from online who would kill her. So I proposed that we would meet in a public place (a square on a college) and I would prove I do not have a criminal record by immediately showing her my concealed carry permit, and if she was not satisfied with her safety risk, we would go our separate ways.

When we met, we gave a quick hug, then she held out her palm, "Show me." I took it out of my wallet, she looked at it and at me, then decided I was harmless.

We were having sex about 7 hours later.

No I never gave him money. He spent his own money on the ticket n everything.
