Why does my friend always ask me for my opinion?

It's not just a one time thing. She always asks me for my opinion on her grades, love life, body image, etc. For example, she always asks "do you think I'll pass the test?" "Do you think I'm fat?" "Do you think I have a bad love life?" I always give her my opinion, but I always tell her "Do YOU think you're doing well in school?" Whenever she asks me that. I want her to have an opinion about these things as well and not just depend on other people's opinions.

It might be because she considers you as her true friend and your opinions are true. She dont want much to think, she asks your opinion and based on that she tries to do it.
Remember people do things which are comfortable to them.
So she asks your opinion regardless of she obeys it or not.

She's insecure and has low self esteem which affects her decision making. she probably trusts you and admires you, it can be just that simple.

dependency is a factor but maybe it's just that she want to make you involve in her life a lot. Or maybe she want an honest opinion so that's why she considers you.
