Why do guys like knee high socks so much?

It seems like most of the guys really like knee high socks. But why is that? Here are some examples:

They are not knee socks. Those are over the knee socks.

They are hot for the same reason stockings are hot, though they do seem a little 'younger' where stockings is more a mature woman look. But I wouldn't say this is a 'schoolgirl' thing.

Im going to say some guys have a fashion fetish when it comes to socks. For me, over knee socks is a low budget turn on for me a as a guy. Lingerie is expensive these days... however, not all guys are created equal. Maybe you like the boots or the lingerie, or just simply high heels and a naked body. Either way its an inexpensive turn on if you wanted to double up ad pair it with leather boots, the guys with sock fetishes guaranteed will go absolute nuts.
