Girls: When you use the hot and cold technique, do you still act cold when the guy you like tries to talk to you?

I'm in high school, and this girl sometimes goes hot then cold in a day, I'm not sure if that's a sign that she likes me. If I were to approach her while she acts cold during that part of the day and she likes me, will she still stay cold? or will she become friendly again.

This hot and cold thing annoying me so any opinions would help!

umm I think I am also facing same situation,its really frustrating,i guess best way to tackle is making her jealous like keep talking to other girls by ignoring her ,i am sure if she is really into you she is gonna stop being blowing hot and cold and plays straight next time ,if she isn't into you she would realize that you are not giving her any attention now,so it end game with you,and its time to look for another guy and keep repeating it

if your gut feeling is that she is doing these out of inexpereince then its best for you to be nice and friendly with her,and I am sure she gonna stop these games,coz girls who are really nice and innocent don't play mind games inteionally

She might be moody or she might just be constantly checking your temperature to get attention from you and see if you're still interested. But you know what? This might be the girl for you to stay away from. If she's this hot and cold already, can you imagine how she's going to be in a relationship? If you want to stop the mind games completely and you're interested enough in her to find out for real what the deal is, talk to her. Ask her if she'd ever be interested in going on a date with you.

Definitely girls like to get chased, but there's a point where it get's old/annoying and it's time to figure out where everybody's head is at.

This has only happened a couple times, and she turns red when she talks to me most of the time and whenever she sees me she would come up and talk to me. Would she be considered as one of those girls that I should stay away from?

Well if she's only done it a COUPLE times, then that's not too bad. If it becomes an "all the time" thing, then you might want to give it a second thought.

I wouldn't judge her that harshly right away... Maybe she has good reasons for what she does? Who knows. I agree with PhatPat, you should ask her out/talk to her and just see where it goes.

Girls like to be chased. It makes us feel special. So if she's not acting flirty, you can still talk to her, just treat her like a friend, a normal person. She'll appreciate that you want to talk to her even when she's not acting all flirty. And you'll get major 'sweet guy' points for it.
