Sorry for the brutal honesty. Every girl has their own preference just like guys have a preference in what females wear. It depends on the guy. Generally females are attracted to the whole bad boy impression and if you have abs it looks really hot to be shirtless. Girls generally like men with muscles it completes their fantasy as long as they have the chemistry/personality to boot. In the summer if you have buff arms a tank top flatters them and as for abs shirtless can be really hot. Just like men can be visual creatures females love a tease and we tend to check you out without you realizing in conversation or peripheral vision. A tank top and jeans is nice as well it gives us the impression you may tend to work and stay casual which is a good way to start conversation. Like I said it all depends. It varies from guy to guy perhaps a description of build, hair, eye color, height etc basically what you may look like may help in an assessment? I'd say a darker colored tank top and maybe an emphasis on the arms in a workout. It accents better traits and makes females look at you a few times in a good way. :) and as for comfort maybe try athletic shorts they grab more attention by expressing possible workout dedication. By the way pheromones in sweat are what females may feel drawn to. They stimulate arousal but it's better that you have traces of your natural ones without smelling like you just got out of the gym. They say if you shower every other day it's best for your body but maybe try showering once with just water, leaving your body's pheromones on it. For me it depends on the guy and the setting. If he's in a gym or at a sporting event, and he's well toned, not overly skinny or too muscle bound, then I would find it attractive. If its a public setting that isn't a gym or sporting event, then I would prefer to see him in jeans and shirt. Colored printed t-shirts are fine as well as long as the messages on them aren't vulgar or defamatory.
id say modesty is the best policy, so keep your shirt on and save taking it off for your girlfriend in the bedroom, that way girls will think its more special or something

I guess I prefer men to be more dressed than that, unless at the gym. But I don't think it'd bother me or even occur to me.
