So why do women treat short guys like shit?

A general trend I've notice is that women will always belittle, talk down to and basically treat short guys as non-existant if they don't need something from them. In contrast, women become very submissive, nice and pleasant around tall guys. Why is that?

Oh really? I didn't know this was the case... Because I've liked several guys who were shorter than me or my height exactly im 5'7 but I've also liked guys who were 6'1 and taller than that but i really dont mistreat or treat a person well based on their height. I treat them well if they treat ME well, i never knew this was an issue. Im sorry if you've experienced this.. I've heard girls make fun of short guys but i never thought it was funny or cool to do so, they were the ones always single having to slut it up for attention so...

I think its mainly because tall guys gives the sense of protection I mean for instance if something happened no one would be able to say shit to the tall guy where as people generally tend to think short guys can't do much in terms of protection and fight! I don't treat short guys like shit or non existant! where I live we have plenty of short good looking lads but then again would you go out with a girl 2x taller than you?

Tall is like a male beauty expectation that is pretty much not an issue irl. "tall dark and handsome" is preached to girls as they grow up, but in reality I don't think people really care, me and my boyfriend are about the same height 5'5 and 5'6 and he's the hottest thing i've ever seen. And is definitely still comforting/feels like he could protect me. Height shouldn't be any reason to belittle (pardon the pun) someone!

If women don't consider you a sexual option, AND they think you are lower social status than them, they'll treat you like shit. That's just the way of the world.

Can't do anything about your height, but you can come across as more valuable than them in other ways, then they'll start treating you with respect.

I wouldn’t say short guys are treated like shit, they are perhaps treated with more indifference. We can’t speak for everyone so I can only speak from my personal preference for tall guys. “In general” women are shorter than men so we feel more attractive to the opposite of us so tall is a quality we seek, respect & admire. Personally, I like big teddy bears… tall men who are nice but know how to fight to protect us if needed. The taller, the more attractive a man is to me.
I will never treat a short guy like shit or anybody who is a good person but I will sure keep the short guys in the Friend-Zone. Short guys aren’t much different than us, they blend in with us and I don’t find that attractive.

It's okay to complain regarding your own insecurities. I know the majority of women (and men) on here greatly detest short men and feel immensely annoyed when they vent their frustrations, as if they're just suppose to shut the fuck up and be forever happy, but, surprisingly, short men are human beings too.

Having a tall men preference is one thing and totally awesome. Becoming annoyed and/or enraged when short men hit on you and bullying them is another. Honestly, GirlsaskGuys makes me want to go back to cutting. Think I'll stop by the discount store and pick up a couple of razor blades for the day.
