I think the reason why those unattractive guys are like that is because they're bitter of never being liked by girls. I'm not justifying their behavior, but it's what I believe, the reason to their behavior.
The same applies to girls, I've noticed that the ugliest tend to be the bitchier ones. The rude, demanding, and bitter ones. In GAG you see them saying how the guy needs to have this and that, when even the white of their eyes is ugly.
Also, average people tend to get more attention because average ones go for average people, and since there's more average people, there's more attention. So you see these people acting like gods and goddesses, when they're just plain average.

Once I was talking with a friend about the models in magazines and blah, blah, blah and the uglies classmate we had at that time came to us (without being asked) and expressed how he would only date tall, skinny girls with big butts and boobs which also have beautiful faces, nothing less. He was 5'4", fat, had a butt ugly face, his fashion sense consisted of tracksuits and was dumber than a can of corn. 😂

They criticize girls the most. Its a form of projection. They're projecting their own ugliness on girls. It makes them feel better about themselves. But there are unattractive girls that do the exact same thing.

i dont think thats tru. when someone less attractive has standards, we notice it more than an attractive person having standards. we kinda use "ugly" against a person even when it isn completley releavant or when its just one feature and the person may have other favorable features.

Can't say I see that at all. In my experience pretty much everyone is bloody nice as long as you approach them in a situation where they are more or less comfortable and okay with it.

Talking to that same girl in the library the day after probably has a "Fuck off" turn into the most sincere caring version of her wondering if you want to go grab a bite to eat together. Situation and location I suppose.
Same way how a lot of fat girls are picky by not going for fat guys but better looking guys instead yet complaining about not enough fat acceptance in the society after getting rejected? Yeah, both genders can be picky like that. It isn't a one way street and I've never been very picky. There are a lot of unattractive people who aren't so picky.

Ones that have high confidence and good looking are also the ones that tend to break your heart. They have options and they are use to playing the field - basically playing you, which is the premise of your question, by being approachable

At the end of the day you can't expect someone to be attracted to anything just because you view them as ugly. That's not even being picky because attraction isn't something we consciously control. Being picky comes in when you actually start talking to the other person and deciding if your personalities gel.
