It's worked great, I need to gain weight as I'm underweight and it's nice to see how many calories I have left, how many I need, but also the nutrients. I can see how much more protein I need to fit in and vitamins. Can also look back at my weeks of logging to see any patterns. Can make notes. I like to make notes on my hunger levels, my energy levels, how well my workouts went, etc.
It's proven to be a very useful health tool.
I love how I can find almost ANY food in the library, and also can scan food, and select measurements consumed of each.

I used that app for a bit, and I liked it but then I downloaded MapMyRun and I like it a lot better. Both are good apps, but I like MapMyRun.
I used to use it, it worked very well and I like how you can scan bar codes. I gained about 10 pounds in 10 weeks, which was my goal. I had to eat 3080 calories a day, it really kept me pushing for my goal.
I checked it out but don't really use it. It's got a lot of good tools though.

PumpUpApp is another good app tooIts a great app. I've tried others as well, but I think MFP is the best one out there. Love the barcode scanner and recipe builder functionality.
