Discipline. As soon as I get on the plane I set my phone to my destinations tome zone. I only allow myself to sleep according to that time zone. It usually take a few days to regulate completely but it's faster than just waiting it out naturally.

Only about 7 hrs. I find it harder to adjust to that than the 12ish hour difference from the US though.

Oh man, lots of places.. I lived in Louisville, KY for 5 months doing student exchange. Managed to explore NYC, LA, Nashville, Miami, Dallas, New Orleans, Cinci, St Louis, Vegas, Myrtle Beach, and a bunch of other places lol.

You have to adjust your sleeping patterns to go from night to mornings, to days, to evenings, then back to nights depending on your previous sleeping times. It helps you adjust to the new time zone and you need to do it in intervals of two weeks.
Oh... I just slept from morning til 4 PM :P
Then adjust your time schedule so you convert that time period to the time zone you're in now in the equivalent time you're in now. Sleep at that time and then slowly adjust it to the time you want to sleep at.

I never got jet lag, surprisingly. but eating and drinking helps when you time it right.

well time it when you need to go to sleep so that your sleeping cycle can adjust. but yeah to the new location as well so you can adjust to the new time.

The only way is to sleep or take your fathers advice. I used to et jet lag all the time so what I would do is go for a run and then force myself to sleep.
