Best home remedies for a sore throat?

Damn it I hate where I live its so dry and my house is worse, I know its because of the dryness in the air. I need to buy a humidifier for my room because this is far too common and painful for me. I feel like crying some morning on the real man lol What are some of your home remedies? I have like 2 or 3 but I want to know more because sometimes these don't work so well. I already do the warm water with salt and honey with lemon.

Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) is probably right up there with garlic
(its unfortunate the things that make us better can’t taste delicious)
but some people swear by it. Its high levels of acidity can kill bacteria
quite efficiently, and when mixed with honey it can soothe the soreness in your throat as well.
You will need…
-1 tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar
-1 tablespoon of honey
-1 cup of very warm water
Directions
Mix the ACV and honey into very warm water. Drink it while it’s still warm!
OR
If you don’t want to swallow it (and it does have a strong taste) try 2 tablespoons
of ACV and mix with ½ cup warm water. Gargle once a day.

First thing first: have it checked up by a specialist. I know you said home remedies, but there's no way of treating it properly unless you have a good diagnose. I'd say that what's important other than humidity is, do you sleep with your mouth open? also what position benefits an easier breathing? I'm asking because most of the times if you're not sleeping in a good position, breathing becomes harder, your mouth opens and even if you don't snore, air can dry and irritate your throat.

Another important thing: if what happens is that your throat tissue becomes inflamed, drink cold stuff, not hot stuff. That should help.

I was gonna suggest the warm lemon with honey lol but my mom used to do this other one where she'd make like this oregano tea that you gargle and it'll numb your throat a bit so you'll feel better. :) you don't need a whole lot, I think you can just boil some water and put your desired amount in a cup and add oregano to it and let it sit for a while. Then try gargling while it's still warm
