Do you think that your age is restricting your training?

Do you feel that your age restricts you for training? I'm 17 and I seem to feel that I'm not progressing as fast as I would if I was 21 when I'm totally developed, is it true that it would restrict u? Does anyone else ever get this? Like I'm bigger than a few guys there but cause they are older etc and more developed they can lift more? That might be down to time training I get that but still. Just sucks when I hit that wall and progress seems to slow a lot
