I've had this issue too and it hasn't gone away completely. However, there are some things that have helped me a lot.
First thing, if you don't already exercise, start to. It's one of the best ways to build self confidence. Not just by improving your body, but by accomplishing something.
Also, start a positive journal. Every other day, write a good thing that's happened.
Now that that is out of the way, you need to learn that you label yourself. Do not let society label you!! You are what you say you are!
Here's a little thing you should try once or twice a week.
Draw a gingerbread man in black ink. The gingerbread man represents your labels. Now write all your insecurities (your bad labels) on this gingerbread man.
Then tear it up, and burn it if you can. Then, go and draw another gingerbread man in a bright color. He is YOU. Write positive things, or things you want to be. I don't care how hard it is, or if you agree with what you're writing, do it anyways. Getting better means trying.
Keep the bright gingerbread men in a place you'll see them.
Here is another practice my therapist taught me. It's called 'catching your bad thoughts'
Whenever you think something negative about yourself, recognize it immediately! Then say "no, I label myself, and I am (insert positive trait)."
I also often write, "I am enough, and I matter" on my hand. You could on your mirror if you're not comfortable yet broadcasting it on your hand :p
You have to keep going. At first you're not going to believe yourself. But if you keep doing these things for months, really trying, I promise it'll start to stick.
Comment with any questions, concerns or anything and I'll try to help.
Good luck. You are beautiful (men are beautiful too), enough, and you matter. 💕

Hmmmmm... Well it starts with a positive mind and telling yourself that you are pretty handsome. My advice is to go get a haircut, change your hairstyle if you want, shave or maybe grow some facial hair, whatever you think suits you better. Maybe buy a good smelling cologne or two, I personally love a good smelling man! And last but not least maybe go shopping for some new clothes and shoes. All these things should help you feel more attractive and handsome to the opposite sex! Good luck 🤗
