Has anyone ever had nightmares after eating before going to bed?

The other night I had a nightmare after I ate some chips before going to bed. Later I had a nightmare about being in the hospital with a evil doctor wanting to preform a experimenting surgery on me. Do you think eating before bed can cause these nightmares or is it just random?

I used to have nightmares but then I realized fear of silly things is stupid so I decided that whenever I had a nightmare I'd turn it into a nightmare for the creatures or people trying to scare me.

I have no ideas I don't even know how I avoid them
