I also downloaded freeletics for bodyweight training to see if any of those exercises will help me - I'm pretty much an expert in cardio but strength training is not my forte.
Thanks! :)
It is as long as your bodyweight (or part of it) is sufficient to fatigue your muscles. Example: if you do pull-ups inclined, your bodyweight is sufficient until you can do full pull-ups, but if these become too easy (10 reps is a piece of cake), then you will need to go to weights again. Unless you just want to tone your body and are more into the body pump style (long reps).
I think its a great place to start, but it would be good to add weights in the future.. u know.. for the challenge and make more gains :P
It can be I worked my way from regular push ups to free standing handstand push ups.
I haven't goon to the gym much don't have membership mostly just played sport and do yard work but can lift more than 3/4 of the the other guys there when i do.

I think bodyweight would be a good idea to help you out. that will help tone you up from what I remember.
Exactly. If you aren't careful with weight training (not bodyweight) you might bulk up more than you want the heavier the weights you use. So it can be a balancing act if you are actually trying to gain strength (for lifting boxes) versus just toning up.
I cant' guarantee anything with the weight gaining. I believe even if you burn off fat but gain a little muscle in it's place from the workouts you are doing you might still have a bit of a weight gain but it's not a huge rise in weight.
Happy to help out when I can. :)

Body weight exercises are good if you just wanna tone up and lose fat but they won't build visible muscle like working out with weights does.
I heard it can be
