You want to still feel satisfied (not full) yet not kill yourself in the process. I would start with the drinks first since they generally have the most empty calories. Switching from soda to crystal light will shave a ton of calories (~250 down to just 5). If you MUST have soda then go with the zero variation of said drink. If you drink tea or coffee use splenda as opposed to normal sugar. Splenda is sugar but the molecules are modified in a way that your body doesn't absorb it (because it doesn't recognize it as sugar). However, it still tastes the same. For milk, obviously go down from full to skim.
Next on the chop block would be condiments. Mustard, ketchup, ranch, and similar items pretty much kill the calorie count of whatever it is you're trying to eat. There are a few tips here. You can go from normal dressings to low calorie dressings. If you can't stand the taste of said dressings just use less of what you're currently eating. Place a small amount to the side instead of drenching your salad. I've also seen people get a plastic bag, put a small amount of dressing inside, and shake it up for even distribution. Either way you will still get the same flavor you desire and cut back drastically on calorie count.
Eat until you are satisfied not until you are full. Take your time while you eat since it takes awhile for food to reach your stomach. You will find that the slower you eat the less you will consume. Oh and soups are a great way to cut back on calories since they take up a high volume but have a low calorie count.

well when in doubt use common sense. Eat lots of fruits and vegies limit yourself on bread amd meat but you don't need to cut them out and stick to real juice and water.if you eat salad use a light vinegar dressing or lemon juice for dressing. Salad dressing is loaded with bad stuff. Also stay away from frozen foods because they have tons of sodium from preservatives. Its stupid to starve yourself because then ul go off your diet easy. If you not getting the results your wanting just up the amount of excerise your doing. And for excerise don't repeat the same ones day to day because they get less effective so switch it up.
