Finding a balance between being thin and being smart?

How do I do this? I want to be thin yet when I eat to be thin I end up with zero energy, struggling to not faint most of the time and my brain doesn't work. Yet I can't eat normally or I'll get fat. What do you eat? What would be a good meal plan idea? Should I include snacks? I want to be able to work to the best of my ability academically but I also want to be thin so I'm so torn... I'm 5'5, 123sh lb naturally, 113-115lb atm. My BMR is pretty low I think.. like 1200 or 1300 calories
