Why do people have a poultry intolerance?

Does anybody know why some people have a poultry intolerance? Like they can eat beef just fine but something about chicken they can't. Is it cause it upsets their stomach? Or something in the meat? And does that mean they won't eat eggs ether? To the point of not having cake and such?

Ground turkey grosses me out because there's no flavor to it, and I usually don't like the taste of chicken when it's re-heated unless there are enough spices/coating on it or if it's fried chicken. Otherwise, I'm fine with poultry.

Since you also mentioned eggs - I really hate eggs. But I can eat them scrambled if I add other ingredients like various meats, veggies, and cheeses. I'm fine with them in baked goods or crumbled in salads, but I really don't like eggs on their own. The smell and taste is awful.

Yes, it's the taste, but it doesn't always bother me. Like I said, only ground turkey and reheated chicken sometimes. And I looooove beef.

Could be an intolerance to what the animal is fed and not the animal itself. The food is digested and the antigen gets deposited in it's tissues. When a human consumes the meat they also consume the antigen.

I haven't heard of anyone like that. I know some people who were allergic to eggs, but not sure if chicken meat affected them too.
