Boxing as terms of difficulty and the amount of stamina is unreal. Cycling for endurance because of the amount of strength in there muscles is very high, and they have to cycle long distances. Hockey for toughness because on avg. more people have died, been injured, and fought in hockey then any other sport. But that's just my opinion.
Football(American) really isn't that tough,. I mean rugby is tougher and rougher they go full scale impacts and all without padding ya pansies.
Soccer is just cool and a beautiful sport.
tennis is the most expensive and demands devotion since the age of 3
Golf you make the most money with the least amount of effort. Sorry its true
That all folks.

best damn sport in the world...ice hockey! :D
You're playing at a ridiculously fast pace on skates and on ice while being knocked around like a pinball by guys who are bigger and stronger than you. The shifts are short but you're playing all out where you skate hard and hit even harder. I play in a beer league (no intentional body checking and fighting for liability reasons) but there's some allowed hitting and rough stuff...it still hurts when you play against guys who are bigger than you. lol

Cheerleading is quite demanding and has more injuries than any other sport, but I would still have to say Rugby. I've never seen anyone being more spent and hurt physically than after a Rugby game. You literally have to be huge, strong and endurant to even play it in smaller leagues.
Depends on what you mean physically demanding. Endurance wise boxing can last many rounds, and you are being pummeled. Cycling requires a lot of endurance, just cycle fast for 5 min and you'll know.
But head to head it'll be football or Rugby (the sport football is derived from). Requires strength, endurance, brute force. Uses a lot of energy. Anyone who plays football for 30 min would know.I bet many would say Football or Rugby, but I think competitive Cheerleading is one of the most demanding and physically demanding sports today if it can be considered a sport of course. Because many people don't see it as a sport.
Hokey. After that soccer. Wrestling is more demanding then either of those, but it's an individual sport even though you are on a team...
It would be the soccer. You have lots of risk to be injured
i would say cheerleading
Rugby League - by far.
