I'm very careful with stuff I eat so I don't think diet is to blame.
It's not genetic because my parents don't have such issues...
Equate breakout control acne cleanser! It's in a purple and white tube at Walmart. Make sure you get the off brand one though! DON'T buy the clean and clear one. There is probably only a two ingredient difference but it works a hell of a lot better! And use a bar of Safeguard soap on your face or wherever else you have acne before you use the face wash... But only use this mix if your face is very oily and isn't sensitive otherwise it could dry out your skin! If you want to try something else, find something with at least 10% benzoyl peroxide as that can also help! I hope it works for you! :D
It's possible that you're actually overdoing it. When you use too harsh of a cleanser and cleanse too frequently your skin can overproduce oil to compensate. Does your skin feel tight after you wash your face? That's a good sign that you're using the wrong product. I always thought I had oily forehead and nose but recently discovered that it was caused by overproduction due to overcleaning. Try switching to a gentler and more natural cleanser and see how that works out.
In addition to what you are doing, I would watch your diet...dump the sugar and crap food. (I know easier said then done!) Try a little more exercise and in moderation try to get a little (not a lot) of sun on your face.

Just blot your skin with tissue, the paper absorbs the oil
