My Girlfriend has raging PMS... How do I deal with it?

When a girl is PMSing, what are we supposed to do? I just hate my girlfriend right now… everything I do is wrong. I’m so close to dumping her it’s not even funny. So far I cooked, cleaned, gave her a back rub, shoveled the driveway (snow), packed her lunch, showered her with affection, and gave her tons of compliments. I have received squat in return. I’m super bitter right now. She’s great normally, but my god is she bad when PMSing…. Would it be OK to just stay away for a couple of days or would that make it worse?

What you need to do is understand what you girlfriend is going through. As a male I know how hard coping with the opposite sex can be, and trust me with PMS it can be somewhat unbearable. I see that by giving affection you are sort of pushing her away. Do undertand that I fully agree that this is fustrating and from what you tell me it seems that she is being a bit harsh, even for PMS symptoms. Here is my answer to you. If she is someone that you are willing to be with and someone that you really want to work for, then try giving her less attention. Do not cut off all feelings, simply just ween her off slowly of your constant affection. The other idea that I can offer you is to move on. I know this seems slightly harsh, but you do not need to have to deal with someone personally shutting you out. Whatever you do please just consider that this is a "woman thing" and can be worse or better depending on the individual. Ever heard of the term man up, well that's what you need to do, and while your at it take back your balls jeeze. Just because she is on her period, doesn't mean you have to do every single little thing for her, that might be part of the reason why she is being a bitch.

Just go in the other room, watch a movie, play a video game or something, and when she bitches at you just ignore her, trust me she will get over it.

Okay, take a breather, go visit your man cave, or a buddy or someone, and bring her back her favorite flowers. PMSing is painful, and sometimes unbarably frusterating, however it passes. Brave it out, and have a little chat with her when its all over, about what you can do to make it easier to stand for both of you. (When she's done PMSing!) Just get out for now, and don't try to cross her.

seriously sometimes it hurts really really bad. one of my friends told me that when she is on her period, her boyfriend barly talks to her and sometimes keeps a distance hahaha plus its only a week long I'm sure you can deal with it. try talking to her and tell her it upsets you

Retreat to the man cave until the coast is clear. Bring her back a hand made gift and make sure you work on it a bit every day you are gone.
