Many people hate the rain
The rain makes me feel at home.
Some may say the gray skies depress them.
But not me, they gray+darkness comforts me.
Some may say the sunshine is better.
But I say the rain is better because the sun casts shadows.
Yet the rain falls everywhere.
The sun rays falls on the good.
While the rain falls on the good+the bad.
The rain may feel like it weighs people down.
But the rain lifts me up.
It's drum beats on the roof
and the singing of the wind
create a music for me
none other hear the way I do
The cool water mists my skin
a contrast to the stark temperature difference
Some may feel as if the rain envelopes them
not in a hug
but in a crushing weight
The rain embraces me
Making me feel safe
The beautiful peace of the rain
Can turn into the beautiful harshness of a thunder storm
it's loud bass will strum through my ears and make me smile
while it makes others cringe
the bright flash will create tattoos on the sky
lasting only seconds
all of this is made better by the moon
the darkness of the sky
it's stars hidden by the clouds
the rain allowing a beauty to be seen
hiding whats always there
