Im so insecure of my pale skin?

Summer is coming and I can't hide my skin anymore. I have to wear short clothes cause its warm. But I am so pale and it just looks disgusting. The fact that I love wearing black makes it look even worse.

But I dont wanna go to a tanning bed or have a fake tan and look orange.

This isn't even a question and I have no idea what Im looking for on here with this lol but I hope Im not the only one...

Hey. Pale skin isn't really that bad. I have pale skin myself and I've stopped caring about it. I can't help being pale, and if I were to tan, I'd only become red and not actually tanned. So, you know... whatever.
Although, I must say that there are a few fake tans that actually give you a really nice color + a healthy glow. I have this one fake tan from L'oréal, which is a gel called Sublime bronze. I put some of it on my legs like a month ago just to test it out, and I was pretty happy with the result. You could see a slight change in color. Like instead of having this pink/blue veiny undertone, I got a more healthy looking tanned undertone. The change wasn't huge or anything since I just applied some of it once, but I still really liked the small change. It didn't look orange either. So you might want to try that out. It lasted like a week and a half, and that was pretty cool too considering that I only tried it out once.
So if you want to, you could always check it out. And if you don't like it, it always washes off after a while, so no harm done.

Great! And just like with any other fake tan, make sure that you apply it nice and evenly. I was very careful with both of my legs and didn't get any patches at all. :) I also rinsed it off after about two hours to get rid of the somewhat greasy feel.

I have pale skin and I've never been self-conscious about it... and I don't think you should be either.
Porcelain is beautiful! Own it...

I was burned really badly when I was a kid, so I'm really careful about it now, which makes me really pale... but I like it, haha!

I am uncomfortable being pale sometimes too. I hate needing SPF 5 million in the summer to prevent me from becoming a roasted tomato. I hate that I literally can't tan like at all.. I burn then 2 days later I peel then I burn again.. No sexy tan for me! Lol

If I was deserted on a tropical island I'd be totally screwed without sunblock.

Darker skin has always looked more vibrant and healthy to me. I guess lighter skin looks good too. It is the beauty standard that people try to push on the world. I never really bought into it though..

You're crazy! Many men including me, prefer pale skin. The paler the better! Not to say I don't like darker skin, but pale is definitely my favourite. Do you really look at other pale women, and think, boy, she's hideous? Why are you listening to the men that tell you tan is best, when there are just as many who prefer pale? Crazy lady :P

if you're pale and look like some otaku girl dayum. my advice is to go to russia or some cold place where sun isn't as hot. still no problem with a pale white skin. some guys and me love girls that stand out of the mass
