Why does he kneel down when I talk to him?

Hello all, there is this guy- he is a friend of mine. I have only known him for a few months. I noticed something strange about his behavior. When I begin to initiate conversation with him, he will squat down (sometimes kneels down on one knee) and will listen to what I have to say. There are many chairs nearby, but he chooses to kneel down. Why? Also if this matters, I noticed he has been complimenting my hair pretty often. So is this a form of respect, flirting, courtship, to be on the same level as me if you will?

It's really hard to say without knowing him. It could be an indication he is interested in you. It may be because he is taller than you and maybe he thinks it's more respectful to kneel or squat rather than going to grab a chair and sitting. It's just hard to say.

ok lol so I'm actually almost his height. This happens when I am sitting down talking to him. Usually my others friends either grab a chair or just keep standing. But I will go with your first suggestion unless you have another one.

no lol...and i am pretty much near his height...i wish i knew...all my other friends will grab a chair when i talk or will remain standing...he will squat down lol
