What are your views on kissing with your eyes open?

I think that if you are kissing someone and if you guys are in love or there is a strong connection you would kiss with your eyes closed? Am I the only who thinks this? I think it's a bit weird if someone kisses with their eyes open...

I confess I sometimes kiss with my eyes open for a little bit. Not for the entire kiss, but just for a bit.

It's because my wife looked so serene and so in love. The woman I'm dating now looks beautiful when we kiss for the same reason. There is such a look of peace and love on her face. I can't resist looking at it.

Now, my wife caught me doing it and giggled. She started to kiss with her eyes open kind of to tease me. When she did that, it got very weird very fast. Then I closed my eyes!

I think opening your eyes while kissing, if for a certain reason, is fine. If you just want to look at their face for a moment, or quick look at the clock, or something.

If your eyes are open the whole time, that's kind of weird, but I don't think it 'means' anything. Except for that they're weird. :P

Even if it did mean he wasn't into kissing, some people don't like kissing. It doesn't mean he isn't into you. :3

I almost always kiss with my eyes closed but sometimes I open them because my girlfriend looks SO adorable (and blurry lol) when she's concentrated on kissing me, but then when we're breaking the kiss, she opens hers, sees that mine are already fully open and gets mad.

I think kissing with eyes open is a lot more sensual and intimate than kissing with them shut.

Obviously in a circumstance when we're just making out and building up to sex then our eyes are mainly closed... but if we're in a loved up mood, my GF and I always have our eyes open :)

I think it's a little weird if the entire time either you or the recipient had their eyes open but I personally love to catch a glimpse of a lover in various states of passion. Same as when she is coming. Though to would be weird to stare at or be stared at when you are in the most intimate throes of passion, I love looking into her eyes as well as her hips/pelvis as she comes.

It's weird when you kiss with your eyes open, I did it once with a girl I didn't really feel anything (I was planning on breaking up) and it felt bad, like if I wasn't there.

I don't like it; now every time I kiss is with my eyes closed.

Lol once I found out he kissed with his eyes open I decided to peak one day and when I did he wasn't even looking at me but off to the side. I've peaked several times and it's the same. Not looking at me.

No. The idea that eyes 'must be closed' when kissing is something young people think. Mature people grew out of that.
