It's weird, I love the show, but aside from Barney Stinson, I don't really like anyone. and I feel like Barney is the one you should probably find the most fault with. I'm late to the party and just started watching it a couple weeks ago (btw, I'm only halfway through season 4, so don't spoil anything for me!).
Barney Stinson is the balls, but he's probably a terrible person when it comes down to it, but being a fellow terrible person, I relate to him the most, haha. But his flaws are pretty obvious.
Ted Mosby is a pretentious pseudo-intellectual douchebag that I'm pretty sure I'd beat his face in within 15 minutes of being around him. He's EXACTLY the type of person I hate; the guy who has to be the smartest one in the room at all times. sorry you didn't make the football team in high school, bro. get over it.
Marshall is another type I hate, the soft-serve goody-two-shoes midwesterner. I'm from Boston...i'm sarcastic and mean-spirited like most people from the northeast. We eat guys like him alive up here.
Lily is just kind of annoying as Marshall's other half. That Marshmellow/Lily-Pad thing they have going on makes me want to puke. They're sweet together, but I hate sweet. I think she irritates me least after Barney though.
Robin...i can't put my finger on it, but she just rubs me the wrong way. She's awesome in the sense that I love the anti-Canada jokes they always have for her, that's one of the funniest parts of the show. I think she's just kind of neutral, but I get pissed off when girls think they're hotter than they are. She's cute, but she has no a$$ and there's something off with her face. I can't call it, but I just don't really like her.
but I don't know, maybe they're all fine and I'm just an a$$hole, haha. again, I think the show is hilarious, but the only one I'd kick it with in real life is Barney, and I even think his act would wear thin pretty quickly.
