Hiding behind a mask, and being fake/not real is actually the opposite of when people are doing with they wear what they like even though their fashion is outside of what's normal. When it comes to different fashions and lifestyles like the Gothic, Lolita, Mori Girl, Gyaru, Fairy kei, Decora, Visual Kei, Oshare Kei, Scene, Emo, Scene, Hime Kaji, etc. people think they wearers of the fashion are only doing it do seem fake, seek attention, hide their "real" selves, or are scary people just because we don't look like everyone else. Everyone goes on about acceptance, and having the freedom to be yourself, but the moment someone does it they're like, "Oh that person's weird", and "You look fake", or "Please stay your "real" self and stop hiding behind a mask, you're beautiful just the way you naturally are", and the biggest one of all "Eww why does she/he dress and look that way? They must be fucking mental". Seriously, you either practice what you preach about your freedom speech bullshit, or stfu and admit you're a twat. I honestly don't get why people do this? It pisses me off. >:I

I think people should feel free to dress how they like, but I should be free to say they look like total eejits. That's what makes it all good: they are expressing themselves, I'm expressing myself. It's the degree of seriousness that it's taken too that I find silly, but I feel that way about anything so... trivial taken so seriously. I suppose for some fashion isn't trivial.

Honestly I ignore that shit. I've gotten those types of comments to the typical "dark girls can't wear colored hair shit". I've rocked every color of the rainbow and still considered a living goddess by my real friends and amazing boyfriend. Fuck the haters. They're just jelly they don't have the courage to be dope as fuck like me.
