Guys, why do you add random girls on Facebook if you already have a girlfriend? And girls, do you get jealous?

I mean, most of you, I notice, add them, but don't talk to them. And why is it you approve certain girls, and not other girls (even if they are attractive/go to the same university). And girls, does it make you jealous if your boyfriend adds random girls on Facebook?

Even if I have a girlfriend, I want to expand my social circles as much as possible. Having lots of friends is a good thing. Many opportunities to do things, more people to talk to and connect.

My girlfriend is not the center of my universe. I am. She is a priority, but my friends are priorities too. Friendships and relationships function in the same manner.

And your boyfriend, as well as all guys who are in exclusive relationships, should have enough discipline to hold boundaries down. They should be smart enough not to betray your trust.

The girls/guys I add to Facebook are because I like them. I've built a connection up with them. The other people who I decline = I just don't feel anything. Or I don't feel like it. Sue me.

So let's say your girl is bothered by you adding random girls (we're talking about the ones who have 0 mutual friends in common), would you do something about it?

its because Facebook can be a big, giant popularity contest. whoever has the most friends or the hottest friends is the coolest. doesn't even matter if you have even talked to them before or not...quite pathetic really

I might be a little ticked but only a little unless he was adding the flirty girls I knew or girls in skimpy clothes all the time that I didn't know :0..that would be a problem :/

I'd ask him about it. A logical question would be "do you know them?" :) ha ha if not I'd say well "did they send you the request?" and go on from there...lol but wouldn't try to start an argument from that

I don't do that..My friends list on Facebook consist of family members and close friends and friends of old..
