Do guys like to take girls to scary movies on purpose?

Question

scary movies totally freak me out. I get really tense, I cover my eyes, and yeah, I scream when the bad guy pops out. when a guy takes me to a horror movie I just want to cuddle up to him and feel safe and close.

several guys have taken me to movies like this and I feel like it's because they know what my reaction will be. do you think so?

Ya. that's what this guy who took me on that kind of a date hoped for! But since I love horror movies and I watch them all the time alone at night in my apartment, I never get scared, I'm just intrigued by them. He didn't know that, so he thought I'll be all over him. haha

Instead he was all over me since HE was scared! (I picked the movie so it was an extra juicy one) I couldn't stop laughing and so we got kicked out!

Research has actually been done  on this!  It shows scary movies are the best choice for a date - better than romantic - because of the hormones fear makes the body produce.  It gets the adrenaline going, which can increase desire.or at least get the girl jumping in her date's lap, lol!  I should say it's the best choice if you actually want to get close to your date, ha!

yes yes yes. they are looking for an opportunity to show how manly they are in the face of danger and fear. and they want you, to clutch their arm and curl into a cute little ball in your seat. They want you to want them to hold them later on that night so that the boogey-man won't come and get you.

Yeah it's because its the best kind of movie to take a girl to. You get nice and close to them and cuddle up, and get to protect em. It's definitely not a coincidence that they always choose scary movies.
