Do Females just want attention???

i don't think that she's just out for attention. as kittycat86 said, maybe she's interested in more than flirting. the reason why she's not talking to you is not because she's trying to play hard to get. I think that she was hoping that you'd make a move on her. maybe she's trying to see if you're interested in her in more than just a platonic way. whatever it is, she's definitely testing the waters and is being cautious about it too as she doesn't want to make a fool out of herself. maybe this is the first time for her to be flirting with someone younger and it's exciting to have young blood arouse her senses. maybe she doesn't want to reply because she's too embarrassed by her behaviour towards you. it could be that she just wanted to flirt with you but not do anything else. it could be a number of things. you have 2 ways of dealing with this.

1) you can stop talking to her and just flat out ignore. it's mean and rude but if she's not giving you any signals after all your effort then she's not interested in more than flirting. in which case, she's not worth it. but if she is interested, then she'll cave in. no one likes to be ignored. so I'm sure it'll bother her when you start paying attention to other women. try making a bit jealous. let her approach you first, and when she does, be frank with her. no use in beating around the bush as it's obviously getting a tad bit annoying.

2) you can just confront her in person. tell her what's on your mind and ask her what's on hers. lay all your cards on the table and clear the air. if the results work to your favour then see how things go from there. if not, then discontinue flirting with her as she's obviously just doing it for attention. it'll get annoying and will only waste your time when you could be focusing your attention on someone else.

I know girls personally who do this ALL the time. They flirt with guys younger or older but back off when they are sure the guy is hooked. They like the attention and the chase but once the guy caves they turn the burners off. I quite frankly don't agree with this behaviour because it's just not fair to the other person. My best suggestion is to let her know that you're very much into her but if she doesn't plan on taking things further she needs to let you go and find attention somewhere else. But be sincere don't say it with attitude. Just tell her how you feel and ask her if she has any concerns that might hold her back from giving herself comepletely. Then hopefully she'll open up. If she takes it as an attack then she was just in it for attention and didn't want to give it up. Hope you get your answer

maybe this woman, wants more than just the exchange of flirting, or it could be that she feels unsure of you and your abilty to be on her level, my sis is in the same situation she's in love with him, but she knows deep inside they can never really connect on the same level and there she is unsure of the whole relationship all together. Its really entirely up to here, she a lot to lose then you. For example if you guys got together and you left, then she would the "old" woman who can't keep a man (at any age) but then on the other hand, You could really keep her optimism up because of the age difference, some woman like that they can attract younger men,. but like a said it's up her if she wants you?
