Is she a tease? Leading me on?

Question

Met a girl and had a great first date, lots of conversation but nothing physical.

Second date, she was very flirty, touching my arm and leaning against me when we sat together. She invited me into her place when I took her home, but she wouldn't even kiss me. I was confused. Every time I'd go in for a move, she seemed to retreat deeper into the sofa arm and her expression and body language changed. But when I pulled back, she'd get more flirty again.

I didn't ask "do you want to make out?" or "it seems like you're sending me mixed signals?" or anything. But it felt like she was deliberately teasing me, or seeing how close she could get without actually kissing me.

I kind gave up trying, because I felt confused and manipulated. When I left, she didn't even stand up to shut the door behind me -- I guessed to avoid a single good-night kiss.

We'd planned a date for a few days later, but she didn't return my call so I wrote her off. Haven't heard from her all week.

I think she was a tease. Any other thoughts?

Well what I think is that she liked you but it was only the second date..not every girl is as fast to get physical as others and you should take that as a good sign that she respects herself more...She probably did not return your calls because you were trying to hard and she was not ready and that is a turn off..well too me in fact..a tease is making out with you and getting you all aroused just to send you home blue...Girls should not do that it's not fair and it's harder for a man to cool off.  Don't jump to conclusions though it was only the second date she does not know you that well I'm guessing give it time...now I can see a longer period a time and no kiss that means your def in the just friend zone.

She could have been really nervous, or she was "freaking out" like us girls do.   She was probably thinking, that she shouldnt have been so flirty, cause you could have thought she was a slut or something, so she was probably trying to retreat.  I don't think she was being a tease at all.  Her thoughts were probably going crazy on how to act.  Try giving her another call sometime, I'm sure you just assumed the worst.

My thinking is that she wasn't too sure as to how to respond to your physical advances and got closed off.  Or she could not have wanted to kiss you nor get physical so early on.

dude it takes girls longer to give up the kiss. Recently this happen to me I really liked this girl and she was always comming over and I made my move and same thing happen, I told her its ok that I wouldn't try again and she came around for another week or so and haven't been back. I'm trying to move on Yep its hard she was a real looker and a great person too I fuked up

she could simply be more reserved when it comes to physical intimacy, however, if she didn't call you back she just wasn't that into you, move onward and upward :)

Give her time.

Some take time to open up.

Either she is painfully shy or you are his first date.

If you still find her physically withdrawing from you, talk to her.

Don't worry, things will get better.
