How do I get my girlfriend to wear some make up when we go out?

Question

My girlfriend is great and I love her to bits but she's also a bit of a tomboy. When we go out a always go all out to look my best for her and while she does look good she never wears any make up. She's a pretty girl but I think a bit of make up would make her look stunning (not like plastering her face with it, just some highlights).

i don't think she's against make up, I just don't think she's ever really tried it. How (if there's a way) do I ask her to wear some make up without sounding rude?

I have the same problem. I love my girlfriend like crazy, but she just will not wear make up. She has even admitted that she looks great in it, but for some reason she just never wears it. I mean I have been losing weight getting in shape and I always try to look my best for her so when she refuses to wear make up or come on jogs with me it makes me feel like the relationship is completely one sided. Call me shallow, but I just don't understand why you wouldn't want to look the best you can for someone you love.

I have tried being polite or lightly hinting around to it. The look isn't really what's bothering me it's just the idea that it gets me wondering what else is she just not going to put any effort into?

I'm just not going to hint around anymore I am going to be blunt as politely as possible. I'll tell you how that goes bro.

Well you could ask her too politely though do just blurt it out. Or you could just let it go, but as I said if you relay are adamant about it then talk to her about it that way she knows but also stress the fact you find her beauty full with out any way.

You could tell her your curious to see how she would look with makeup. I'd reassure her that you think she is beautiful the way she is normally.

I would tell her how you feel, and offer to have a "make-over" done to her at one of the make-up counters in the department stores, etc. Maybe if she sees how much more beautiful she is with it, she will start using it more often.
