I hated a boss like that once. Domineering little red nosed gnome. Never came by except to demand results too quickly, criticize, or change requirements in some way that wasted most of the effort I'd already made. Hired me under false pretenses too, to do work on a contract that didn't get signed with the customer until 3 months after I'd been hired and gave me crap work with no supporting documentation just to keep me busy.

Joke was on him, though. I got sick of the job and quit literally an hour after they had signed the contract with the customer and I could finally begin work. Didn't know, but I couldn't have timed it better. Geez, I hated that man, and I'm surprised how much I still do years later. I don't usually hold grudges like that. That kind of bothers me actually. Not healthy.

Because you have an emotional investment in them. Perhaps you like them and they don't reciprocate or perhaps they remind you your own flaws. For someone to take something personally, it has to be personal.

Some people are much more easily annoyed than other people. The only reason I can think of that I would be annoyed by someone's mere presence is if they were threatening to me. Like if a guy comes up and tickles me from behind all the time, even though he doesn't know me very well, or a guy who is constantly making really weird long eye contact with me, or if he hogs all the attention, is really fake, is trying to weasel his way into my personal business, would steal from me, or if he has sexually abused me before, or if we're broken up. If I feel like my personal space/territory is getting violated for some reason, then I will be annoyed by his mere presence.

Lol One of my half bosses absolutely ANNOYS me to the bone. Her voice is so ear splitting, she asks dumb questions and she is just an all round pain in the arse. Excuse my language there. She always blames someone else for her mistakes and it's usually me because I'm just the Trainee, but my god. Grrrrr pissed off thinking bout her now. lol

It depends, I generally am pretty calm and rational, but if it were some one I totally hated ie. my ex, yeah that would piss me off just him standing there because I know he's such a douche-bag. Lol^_^

i think about things and my breathing gets heavier and it annoys me just that theyre THERE and I want a way for them to be gone without having to do something irrational

Often! For me its guys more then girls. Just a general air of douche-baggery. Usually accompanied by jeans a little too mechanically destroyed and a frat shirt that's a little too tight, along with an air of false superiority.
