My ex makes constant references to our past relationship?

We're trying to be just friends again, but he keeps making jokes towards our past relationship. Whenever the opportunity arises, he'll bring up an inside joke we used to have or bring up an experience we once had.

Why is he doing this? I play along but.. is there some deeper meaning?

Oh man. It doesn't mean anything. It only means you are friends now and you have lived several experiences together. Why wouldn't he make references? You ARE friends. Right? Don't look so much into it. If I've learned anything in life it's that if a man doesn't show full-blown interest then I won't give it a second thought. It's not worth it to me. Then again I want a Man that is open about his feelings.
