My ex boyfriend kiss me on the lips?

we was in his car about to watch the boondocks. he said "aww come here," I thought he was trying to get close to cuddle up and watch the show but he grab my neck and pull me to kiss him. I turn my head to try kiss him on cheeks but he hold my neck for a kiss on the lip. I kiss him couple time then I try to pull away but he pull me back in. I guess he noticed I was trying to pull away so he stop and said sorry.

he told me we can't be together then why would he kiss me while we trying to be friends.
