the best revenge is forgiving and moving on. I know it may seem like you're letting him/her get away with it but in the long run, forgiveness is to give YOU peace of mind, not them. So everything you do after that relationship should be for you and bettering you as a person.

I think the best would be something I haven't tried yet, acting overjoyed when they break the news to you. Say, "Oh thank goodness, I was going to bring it up but you beat me to it."

But the best thing a person did when I broke up with them was smile and say "Ok" and not act upset at all. It was very sweet, light and chill. I don't like it when they get angry or confused.
