so this is a very complicated situation so I’ll try to give as much info as possible. I met a guy on bumble early September. We have talked every day since we “met” pretty much nonstop. We have hung out 8 times now. We were on hookup basis but not ruling out it going somewhere. But we both wanted to take things slow. He always initiated contact and recently started asking me to go do things more than booking up even grabbing food or drinks. For example he was telling me there was a brewery he wanted to go to and asked if I’d go with I’m. On Saturday night our conversation went like normal. However the next morning (here’s where it gets complicated) my ex boyfriend somehow got onto my Instagram and saw my messages with my new “guy” and ended up flipping out. He is very jealous person and a little psycho. He ended up texting me threatening me saying he was going to tell my new guy that I was sleeping with him also. I was very nervous he would ruin what I had going on so I decided to message the new guy I’m seeing and forewarn him to avoid drama. I just said hey maybe you should block this username. My ex is a little crazy, and I don’t want him to bother you or have you have to deal with him at all. Well he got very angry I brought up my ex and told me he didn’t want to deal with this shit and he had a bunch of tests coming up and he didn’t want to deal with it. I was very confused because there was no drama I was simply trying to prevent it. Well he ended up blocking me on Instagram and blocking my phone number. I’m very confused. It definitely hurts my feelings to be treated like I’m not a person and just blocked. I think it’s super immature and I probably dodged a bullet if he behaves like that. But I still have emotions and was wondering if maybe you think he’d unblock me and speak to me again? I’m very confused and would like someone else’s advice. I can give more info describing our relation ship with each other if I didn’t give enough already!

I think it’s interesting that you keep saying how confused you are. I think you should try to think about something else for as long as you can push it out of your mind maybe wait overnight if you can before you think about it again and things will be much more clear I think that would be the first thing to do I can tell you more if you want?

Well I think what you did your reaction was a very good reaction I think you did the right thing by contacting him to tell him what might be coming. That was a wise and prudent thing to do prevent a catastrophe. But what has happened is
that it apparently backfired, right? You asked if you should hope he unblocks you so you can explain... you can hope, you can even act desperate and hunt him down if you are that pathetic... sorry but thats how you seem to me, desperate. I think you are better than that🚟- he should realize he’s being an ass for over reacting and come to his senses. Give him a minute to do that.

no I don’t think I’m desperate. I’m not going to reach out and try to explain myself or really even if he comes back. It was a very immature response and I wouldn’t want to date someone who can just block me. But it still bothered me nonetheless. And I like seeing things from others perspectives. Maybe I really did say something that deserved a blocking. Who knows. That’s why I’m asking this

Nothing that you said in your narrative is in my opinion saying something wrong or anything that deserved him acting like that. Clearly it is not your fault so don’t even think about blaming yourself it is his fault not yours you acted completely normal and appropriately in my opinion.

Yes. I only thought maybe I said something wrong because once before we got into an argument about my ex. He asked me a question and my answer had to do with my ex boyfriend. I try to avoid the topic but sometimes to answer honestly it had to be brought up. He got mad and said we shouldn’t talk since I obviously had feelings for my ex. (100% don’t) but I smoothed it over and we continued on and got closer. This time I don't know he flipped and blocked me

Well I will echo what some of these other guys have said and say he fell for you he’s probably the type to fall in love easily and that is probably what was happening and he was hurt because he’s overly sensitive and now here you are. If it hadn’t happened now it would’ve happened sooner enough so better that you got it out-of-the-way now.

If he started taking you out to do more friendly things, it sounds like he was developing romantic feelings for you. Finding out that you were sleeping with other guys probably felt to him as if you were cheating on him.

I explained to him I wasn’t sleeping with him! I brought it up because I wanted to bring it up before my ex found him and made lies up. He got angry I brought my ex up at all.

Honestly. Just by you bringing up the ex initiated to the new guy something was about to happen. You probably never should have mentioned anything. He probably blocked you because he clearly had feelings for you and doesn't want them to manifest into something more.
