Girls, Blocking your ex on social media?

So my ex has broken up with me for almost 3 months and she still kept all social media open to me. Since new year is the start of the beginning, i wonder if i should block her from every communications like instagram, snapchat and phone and start anew. I don't want her to see me as an immature guy so i would like to ask girls for their opinion on this. I would really love to move on but i would still want to give my last shot on this and i just wondering what actually make girls attracted to you or think of you after the break-up?

- How would you feel if you're the dumper and still have good feelings about your ex but then he blocks you on every social media platform?
- What if he is showing sign of moving on? Will it attract you?
- What makes you feel the most like going back to him after the break-up?
- After the breakup, would you still think of him everyday even though you are busy or occupied?
- Do girls easily move on after their first relationship evening knowing that the relationship was hurtful to her?

We’ll me being me, I’ve never dumped. I’m normally the one who gets dumped 😂 but, I’m pretty sure if my ex blocked me, I would get curious to what happened to him. I’d wonder why he wasn’t behind my tail and honestly, girls like attention so being cut of like that gets us to wonder if we made a mistake. Next, (and this depends on the girl) moving on can either attract her into wishing you were after her again or it could genuinely make her think you’ve moved on and do the same. I’ve also been dumped from my first relationship of a year recently and it hurts. The guy who dumped me actually seemed fine the next day and that actually upsetted me and made me long for his attention. You can give her space and that could get her to miss you. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. At the same time, she might distance herself from you thinking that you truly have moved on.
Lastly, do what YOU want. If you want to move on and you keep getting reminded of her, block her and get rid of anything that reminds you of her. It’s best to forget if you want to move on.

Honestly, if he truly cared about you, she would. If u seem happy she’ll wonder where you are and why you aren’t after her. We love attention. At the same time, don’t be too hostile. Or she’ll think you’ve moved on.
Something I read about was called the 5 week rule. Completely cut them off for 5 weeks to give them time to miss you.
After 5 weeks, you can start to slowly make small talk, and as that goes, they’ll see what they’ve been missing.
I’ll tell you now, I’ve felt it. Anytime a guy cuts me off, yes I’m hurt, but I’m curious to what’s happening to him.

I did cut her off for a month and came back asking if she would want to meet up to grab a coffee as a friend but at that point of time she still hated me saying "friends do not meet up for no reason" and as well "friends do not message each other everyday" which i only did thrice after a month of not talking to her just to ask her if she has eaten or anything.

What does “I would really love to move on but i would still want to give my last shot on this” mean? Don’t block to get her jealous or interested. Games don’t work. Block so you can move on and not have her day to say in your face any longer. Blocking her isn’t going to suddenly make her want to be with you. Just take care of you. blovking is a good first step in doing that.

Yes. Space and focusing on you. Fill your days with other activities. Fill your body mind and soul with so much “stuff” there isn’t room to think about what she’s doing. When you do that something great happens, you realize your life is fine without her and you become more attractive to those around you. Especially those also taking in whatever activity, hobby, sport, club you are using for yourself. sometbing else sometimes happens too... sometimes. Now I hesitate to say this because I don’t want you to focus on it. But you actually become more attractive to the one who dumped you. Missing her, looking at her posts, calling her writing her, etc. will do the exact opposite. But taking care of you and NOT her ego, sometimes makes you more attractive. But if and when that happens, you’ll have more power to actually decide if you want to go back or are happier moving forward.

when I was the dumper, I didn't give a damn, about my ex seeing my profile. I did not care about him anymore.
recently I was dumped and I actually removed that person, because
1.) I don't want to be reminded of them, seeing them happy with someone else
2.) It actually gives me the "satisfaction" that they don't know either what is going on in my life - and I know that some guys suddenly got curious about that
You really should not think about how that would look to her. as said, I don't care if he thinks I am childish - I will never know, perhaps he also thinks: she broke off all means of communication, she must be over me and that usually hurts dumpers egos!
do it for yourself, it helps to move on.

To 1: I guess you wonder why she didn't remove you? Well, perhaps she doesn't care, when I left my boyfriend, he deleted me, then asked to be friends on fb again, and I added him - plainly because I did not care. If it comes with 2: well, then she wants you to seehow happy she is w/o you. Obviously its social media, so it's filtered happiness... might not be true. so if u just do not react, it will hurt her ego most, and u are most likely to get the reaction u want - her contacting you again.

Personally, if I was deeply hurt by someone or just deeply hurt by it ending, I block them as a coping mechanism to move on. It helps because then I don’t get random reminders of them on my feed and it voids the option of going to click and update their page or story or what-have-you... i always kinda do it immediately after so it may be like alittle odd if u do it awhile after because that completely shows her that ur still hurt if ur still caring enough to take a rash action like blocking... so if u care about her knowing then don’t block, but if you wanna do what’s best for u, quite honestly who cares about what her and her friends think anymore (bc that’s the only people who will know)

She said she was hurt during the relationship maybe of some words I've said and i know that I've been giving her attitude for no specific reason and i really do regret it but till now, she hasn't remove or block me on any social media platform. What does it mean? There was a picture where she caption it "Doesn't mean a relationship end means the two stopped loving each other". Another thing is that she is active on her instagram stories and spammed account which she normally don't even post things on it. She will always post something happy on instagram stories and let alone taking picture with guys.

Well she may not block you because even if she’s hurt, not everyone copes in the same way. A lot of people do not block their exes, a lot of my friends don’t. And that seems like she’s constantly posting stuff hoping to get your attention and it kinda sounds like she wants u to reach out to her.

I stopped watching her stories and liking her picture and basically deleted my instagram to prevent me from doing that. After 3 months she's still posting stuff and also active...

Honestly blocking someone for no reason is kinda immature, especially if that person hasn't really done anything to be worth of a block. You don't have to block someone to move on, but if you don't want to see them on your social feed then just unfriend, unfollow, hide all their posts and you won't have to worry about seeing them all over your feed. I would only block someone for harassment or if they're just trolling, but if they are not saying anything to you and leaving you alone peacefully then there's no reason to block. Just unfriend and then you can move on and start the year fresh.

Block, delete, remove everything. You’ll always be holding on to her and the idea of second chances. It was the best thing I could do for myself to heal after a break up. The moment you see something that shows she’s moved on it’s going to make you feel so much worse so just remove the chance.

I just message her during Christmas to asked her out but it was last min on that day night itself. She told me she already has plans with the family and wouldn't be free and wish me a Merry Christmas. She didn't offer me to hang out with her another day when she's free.

- I think I would be asking myself and maybe my ex, why does he block me?
- I would move on as well no matter how hard this is.
- at the begging , I will think about him.. but when the time flies by, I think I will be completely okay with the breakup. maybe I will think about my ex as like my friend.
- it depends on the breakup. if the breakup was really hard.. so Im assuming that it will take me some time to get over it. but if the bread was good, so I don't think that it will take me long time to get over it.

1) yes. it is.. my firs relationship was for like 2 years.. and yes.. it was taking a while for me to get over it.
2) its depends on, what do you call hurtful. if he cheated on me so no.. we won't back together. if he don't trust me.. and have trust issues, so maybe we will be back together. everything and everyone can change. my opinion, is if he did this one time, what is holding him back to not to do this again? now, u can disagree with me.. and thats okay.. we all have our own opinions. so.. this is my opinion. Well my ex broke up with me and I blocked him on everything. It made him really bitter. And hated me more. But then after a few weeks of not talking literally nothing he kept looking at my stories. And now we are hanging out. We get along more but we are still not together yet. He said he wants space so space I gave. He thinks I'm seeing someone I'm not But he is 10000% sure I am. He's torturing himself. It's up to you what you do. I changed my appearance and he was all over me.

I think nobody, male and female, does not like the idea of being blocked. I merely unfriended my exes and let certain parts of information be for friends only. Because in my opinion, their right to know what is going on with me has vanished. Blocking seems a little too much. Is there a reason why?

I blocked him from facebook (the only social media I use apart from GAG), I didn't want him to pop on my facebook because we had common friends and he appeared regularly, so I just blocked him and erased every person we had in common (they were just people I knew, we never liked each other anyway). That helps moving on.

Yes, seeing him made me think about all the things that pissed me off. Now I keep him blocked because I don't want him to know anything about me.

I dumped mine 8 months ago and, I am happier now than I was with him. My relationship was monstrous I was at my worst. He still continues to call or contact me but, I had to block him because our relationship was horrible. Three months is time to get back to learning you again and, letting someone else get a chance.
