Why does ex untag himself from our fb pics?

Its been almost a year- why is he still doing this?

HE broke up with me almost a year ago now, because he "fell out of love", Why is he still having phases of untagging himself from our fb pics, and just generally continues to try really hard to pretend I don't exist even though he has to see me every day at uni?

surely it should all be forgotten by now and we can get on with out lives normally?!

If I were interested in a girl, I wouldn't want her to see all kinds of pictures of me and my ex on fb. Let alone anyone see those pictures. It may not be for him, as much as it is for someone else. It really shouldn't bother you anyway if you're over it. I hope you're not implying that you continuously tag him either, because that would be annoying as heck. There's plenty of pics I hate to see on my FB whether its with other people or I just don't like the pic, and I untag myself... even after they repeatedly tag me. Its his choice, his life, let him do as he pleases. Its not like he's hurting you, no?

I tell you my experience. I broke up with my ex over a year ago and couldn't move on. Finally I realized that I loved her after all and wanted to be with her. Even when I thought I didn't love her, It was really hard to let her go, so its not that easy. even if he decided he didn't want to be with you, if you had a good relationship moving on is hard. Maybe he still has feelings for you.

i was just wondering if I could possibly question you a little on the chat app on here about the answer you gave to my earlier question( about my ex deleting pics and being avoidant?) I've never talked to a guy about it really so it' be nice to get an insight- similarly, if there is anything you want help with - I'm happy to listen too

Hes not pretending you don't exist. it sucks to have pictures of you and your ex on Facebook. He doesn't want reminders of you and him and what you had on Facebook. No, they might not be of you two kissing, but still, to have pictures of you guys hanging out or doing anything together, is unnecessary.

I deleted all the pictures my ex and I had together off of Facebook because its over, and its not necessary to have pictures of us together.

I hate to say this, but he wants to close that chapter. He probably wants to get rid of everything that reminds him of your relationship together. Maybe that makes it easier for him to move on. You shouldn't be bothered by this and also move on. It wasn't meant to be.

but that's the point, why is he trying so hard to move on? surely if he doesn't care he should have by now?

Did you 2 part as friends? If I broke up with someone and we didn't part as friends I would also break every connection with that person (incl. those FB pics). And it's not that it's trying hard to move on but just closing something off that is no more. If I still had feelings for that person or was still friends, I wouldn't cut off the connections, hoping to reconnect with that person.

well, he said we could still be friends because he still liked me as me. So I took that as leaving on okish terms- enough to be friendly afterward anyway. It's not that I assume he still has feelings as such I just think he's behavior is wierd, why say we can be friends, then act like that most of the time, and rather thna immediately getting rid of everything, just have a blitz every now and again?

in additon to this, if I ever try and approach him to be friendly - like when he stares at me and I think he might want to talk and say hi, he starts getting all jumpy, awkward, can't seem to form a conversation and tries to run away as fast as possible! Its almost like I scare him..

again, that confuses me- what's NOT to handle? he didn't want a relationship - what's so hard about being in a friendship?

I was the one who got my heart broken, not him, I don't get how it could be hard for him.
