My ex broke up with me a few months ago. We were going through a rough patch for awhile and he ended things. I then went on vacation. During my vacation, he kept commenting on my posts “perfect” and stuff like that, stalking my page. We started to talk again, everything was going alright. We met, we both cried. We kept talking for weeks. He went on vacation and bought me souvenirs. I thought he still had feelings for me and wanted to try working things out, but I was wrong. I knew that during our rough patch, he was talking to another girl and I’m not sure about the things he did with her. I found him on tinder, he confronted me about it. He then deleted his tinder so that I could go on vacation with him (he was planning a trip for me and him).
Anyways, I told him that I still had feelings for him and when I asked him he said “idk”. At the moment, I gave up and told him that I knew about the girl and that they had something going on. He denied it the entire time. I sort of said my final goodbye like “you won. I can’t do this anymore, I’m just getting hurt. I forgive you for what you did.” And we ended things there. The next day, he unfollowed her on Instagram, but he still follows me (it’s been 5 months since we officially broke up and 2 weeks since I said I can’t do this anymore).
Why would he get rid of her now and not reach out to me? Why would he deny it? Why is he still following me and not her?
