There are two ways in the case of a heartbreak, I can see.
- Improve yourself
- Lose yourself
I focus on improving myself as it is the aspect with positive outcome in the end.

For me that was the other way around, I was unstoppable before I got the heartbreaks.
But the last and the biggest heartbreak I’ve had was the wake up call and I am getting on my feet again, this time I think even more powerful than before.
Because at first, I was strong for I didn’t know what a failure was, now I am strong because I know what it is and I still manage to get up taller.
I hope, you’ll always manage to get up fast after any heartbreak.
Nothing’s worth losing your time.
@laFemmeFatale_1I read your reply, and feel I must relate something to you regarding the heartbreak and how you handled it. I once belonged to a Skydiving club back in Ohio. We had a fairly large group. One was a girl of 19, and she apparently 'fell in love' with one of our other regulars. No one knew, but apparently he dumped her, and one Saturday, she came to the airport, went up to 5500 feet, jumped and went straight into the ground. I worked with her father at a bank there where I Lived When I Was her age. (19) I understand heartbreak, and have been through it a few times, and once when I was her age. I just never understood that kind of thing to happen over a broken love affair.
Glad you are a strong person
@Bricealan That’s a sad story… I feel sorry for her… How was her family later on? I also encountered this kind of situation once, when I was young, a girl jumped from our building because her ex broke up with her. Luckily, I love myself a lot for doing anything like that.
But at some point I was so heartbroken, I had developed physical pain in my heart and I was thinking a bit more and maybe I’d just die.
Falling in love was always my biggest fear.
The thing is I was very successful before 23. More successful than I’ve heard about anyone of that age. That was when my first heartbreak happened. Pandemic made it unable for me to go back to my boyfriend who I lived with and I just left him for 2 weeks and never managed to go back for two years. All my clothes, my home, my everything was there with him. That time I fell, really hard. As if my life stopped and I was physically in a place where I shouldn’t have been. That was my first heartbreak that I processed poorly, got depressed, started having high fevers because of stress caused by not seeing him, starting having physical heartaches.
The last heartbreak was when we were engaged and I heard he cheated and left for that girl. And that was the one that woke me up from all this melodrama and slapped in my face to show me, what am I doing?
That was 6 months ago. I am now feeling more power in me every coming day and I notice a huge transformation not only back to the person I used to be before the heartbreak but also to a wiser person, who will never ever let herself fall that low anymore.
Am I strong? I don’t know. But I feel happy I’ve already being at the lowest point of my life. You can’t go lower, the way from there only goes up and up.
You sound as though you recovered well, and we have to learn and understand, that we CANNOT let others control us to the point that we might do self harm, if they decided to leave us. Life goes on, and, NO, I never did know what happened to the family of the girl I told you about. I think she was an only child, but I can only imagine it really destroyed them mentally.
Amazing stories 🤝

You can become motivated in other ways. For me, it just so happened to be meeting someone who constantly showed support. But yes breaking up did help
as in, romantic ones?
I do not think so, because I have not had one of those
if you mean in general, then yes... life has been challenging for me but, it is all part of what has built me up, today...
The lessons you learn through painful personal experiences are the lessons whch are most important.

No, those two things have nothing to do with each other. Career/jobs is a professional thing, NOT a personal thing!
Not yelling, just saying.
Lol 😂 I wouldn’t put it that way I do believe that personal situation can motivate you and strive for a better. Rather it be personal struggles or heartbreak or death of someone or just a learning curiosity
Yes, I think so. Sometimes you need to make mistakes in order to learn and to get better.
Not feelin ya on career. Well personal growth either. Heartbreak sucks and stands as the second worst pain I've experienced.
How could it be helpful?
No. That's a myth.
