My recent exs bestfriend is hitting on me?

My ex of a year and I broke up about 4 months ago. His best friend of many years has been texting me since the breakup, flirting with me, asking me to be his date, etc. My ex and I have been in no contact but I can’t help but think it might be right to let him know his ‘best friend’ is doing this. Or should I just leave it be and not tell my ex?

That's a scum bag of a friend and if this "friend" will do that to him imagine what he will do to you if you two hook-up. I would not tell your Ex as it will cause him pain... even if you were wronged and you would like to twist the this knife into his skin. Good luck with that.
