Let's say your ex whom you dated for 5+ years, was in a life threatening accident. Because of the recency of your break-up, you are still on their emergency contact list. The hospital calls you to come in and answer some medical questions because the family cannot be reached. What do you do?

I'm not going. S/he is not my responsibility any more. I'd ask the docs to remove my name from the call list.
I'm not going, but I'd try to reach family or a friend on their behalf.
I'd go. It's not like they called me. They are incapacitated, so the least I can do is just give the medical info and leave.
I'd go and stay as long as needed. Just because we broke up doesn't mean I stopped caring as a human being even if I don't like them anymore.
