I wouldn't break up i would ask him why before making decisions. He could literally hate her and still have issues from it, I checked if my cheating ex was unhappy while dating once before i stopped caring. But it was because i got backstabbed and wanted to see if karma hit her

I would probably have a discussion about why he feels the need to keep up with his ex. After that you can decide what to do. Personally I would leave him regardless of what he said. Stalking somebody is very weird it's deeper than weird what's he going to do if you break up with him if you're going to stalk you too he has no reason to be stalking her and he has no reason to be with you if that's what he's doing and you need to send them straight because that's just not cool it's not right either he's going to be with you or he's not going to be with you
