Because chances are you didn’t speak to him about it. You lectured him about it the way a lot of women tend to do. He probably did it out of spite, to make you mad. At the same time maybe you just weren’t the one. A majority of men will change for the right girl, you weren’t it. I’m not pointing a finger whatsoever bc I don't know how your relationship dynamic was, but if you nagged or prodded him about changing, he may have become resentful of you and wasn’t going to change just because you rode his ass about it lol if you even did. This was for him to do on his own time at his own pace.
