Why did my ex totally change after break up?

When we were together, he was broke and also very proud, it meant he wanted to pay for everything but couldn’t afford. So I wasn’t wishing for too much, I was working mostly and we spent evenings together curled up in bed, watching movies, playing games, working together, going to cinema, going on dinners, walking around and so on, he had some ideas, but I didn’t have time he didn’t have money. So we waited for better times to do them.

It’s been 9 months since break up, he got a much better job before break up, he can now afford his hobbies, he got a bike, he goes climbing mountains and hiking every week, he also likes mountain biking, he was a sportsman and was really into gym and was a handball champion but I never expected him to be so outdoorsy. What caused these changes?

He’s like 180 percent different than what he used to be.

That’s my brother and my friends, I am like over him for a week and then something reminds me and I still start thinking of him. I hate it. I need to put him off the pedestal, it seems like I idealized him much more after a break up. Now he is a highest symbol of handsomeness and hotness and love for me that no other man can match up to. He was great and all, but seems like not great enough to stick around.

Thanks for comfort, he already got a new girlfriend 2 months after break up. But he doesn’t post the pics.

Not thinking of him for a week doesn't mean you are over him, you just didn't think of him, let me guess you still look at his page huh? Lol, let's put it this way, if you still know what your ex is doing in life, you aren't over him cause it means you are still involving him in your life by keeping up with what he is up too, him having a girlfriend should be an even bigger reason you should go your own way, because if you did have some hopes of getting back with him which we all do in the beginning of a break up, you shouldn't now, he has moved on and you should to, I'm glad it cheered you up, but don't fall into that walk of depression when you check up on an ex, cause that's all it is, you are wasting time you could be using for something good in your life, not looking back is hard but nothing that's good for you is ever easy to do.

I think so too. I am just surprised because he used to be a homebody as well. He liked spending time at home watching movies. He has seen thousands of movies.

I myself want to get into kickboxing, belly dancing, biking and horse riding but barely find time for my hobbies because I am working all the time. I think I should do what he does, at least leave some free time to enjoy my life.
