Am I wrong for threatening to divorce my wife because she refuses to give up alcohol while pregnant?

It's a short story, my wife, age 28 told me she stopped drinking months ago. I'm 37. She's 3 months along. She came home last night from work sloppy drunk. I'm scared she's doing this on purpose to kill our unborn child. I told her that if she didn't stop drinking I would file for divorce.

Point being if people want to change something about themselves, then they don't need to make a kid or 2 unless they want to change what they fill out in forms in the kids section.

@Unit1 actually you are wrong, there’s plenty of addicts that put their habits on hold when they have babies, hence why I said you are a low person if you don’t. This was a heavily discussed topic in one of my college classes for my dietetics/nutrition degree.

So I'm "wrong" by your statement. I'll take that as a badge. Imagine how much of a weakling someone must be to need a kid or 2 to apply such a change + introduce those kids into their mess too (bad influence).

Imagine just applying the change. Then again, I should probably look at it more objectively than subjectively.
