the last 5 years or so it’s like we didn’t have a relationship at all, husband is always always, never home, never takes my calls. Feels like our marriage died already…

It sounds like he has taken you for granted. I don't blame you but did you ever ask him/confront him how come he doesn't pick up your calls and is rarely ever home? Do you think he's having an affair or became a workaholic to a point that he doesn't have time for you?

Either way, feelings lonely, uncared for and unloved isn't something that's normal in a relationship especially as a married woman. Intimacy, making constant efforts for each other and make each other is a must in a relationship.

What he is doing is called abandonment, which is a bad thing in a divorce and for that, you might as well be single, he's not giving you the time he should and there's no reason why there should be commitment if there's no spark, I think if you've tried your best to find any solution to this then there's only so much you can do.

It takes two people to make a happy , successful and lasting relationship.
