Okay sure. I won't tell you to move on. But I will tell you that he's just a situationship, and he doesn't take you seriously like you take him seriously. He isn't wanting or respecting you in the way you want him. So he watches your IG stories every day. There's no significant meaning in it. Is he trying to reach out to you in any way, or just likes watching? Lots of exes or love interests will watch your stories on social media all the time - and even for months or years, yet never say a word to you. There's no meaning in it. It just keeps you hanging on.

I am going to assume that since this was a "situationship" that sex was involved, you guys were probably fuckbuddies or met that way to begin with. Maybe one of you even cheated on your partner to be in this situationship, I don't know. But you should know at your age that these kinds of things are bound to end, or one person in it gets bored or wants to start messing with someone else.

So I won't tell you to move on, that's not what you want to hear. You would rather spend your time and your self-respect trying to win back someone who does not truly value you. Good luck.

Thank you so much for this helpful advice! Because I noticed and thought the same. On Instagram, there’s an option to just let “close friends” watch your stories. I would sometime (just twice) put two stories where it’s only for him and I put down a teasing booty pic of me writing “still thinking about you” and another teasing one where I was slowly unzipping my top stating don’t click next unless they’re looking for trouble wanting and needing me.. and he actually liked all of them. But he didn’t message me… so I stopped doing it :(

I'm not sure you can win him back as I'm not sure why exactly he ended things. What I can say is believe whatever he told you if he doesn't want to be with you believe him and respect his wishes. At the moment distance and cutting communication is the only way you have to get his attention and that also includes either blocking him from seeing your stories or do not post any stories on social media at all. He won't have the chance to miss you if you're constantly in his face.

As I said if he keeps watching everything you post he won't miss your absence because he always gets to see you. Men's brains are wired differently while for us is necessary to keep constant communication for a relationship to thrive most men only get to see how important we are in their lives when they can't have us or when we're not there. That's why space and distance is so important after breaking up. Also women tend to feel things very deeply after a breakup and start feeling better after a few weeks/months.
